- 1 1/2 Cups Milk
- 1 cup Sugar
- 3 Tsps Yeast
- 115 Grams Butter
- 3 Eggs
- 1 Tbsp Vanilla
- 5 Cups Flour
- 1 tsp Nutmeg
Mix the warm milk with Yeast and sugar and set aside.
Cream the butter, eggs , vanilla and Nutmeg in a separate bowl.
Mix in the Yeast mixture and the butter mixture into the flour.
Fold until combined and transfer to a floured surface. Knead with more flour until the dough does not stick.
Transfer to a glass bowl and top with some oil. Cover with cling film and let rest for 4 hours.
Roll out the dough an use a round cutter to cut out the donuts and a smaller circle for the holes.
Deep Fry in hot oil.
